Self Management and Recovery Training (SMART) Groups are voluntary self-help groups that can be used alone or in conjunction with one-on-one treatment.

The Groups are led by two of our AOD clinicians and aim to assist participants manage and recover from their alcohol or drug misuse. As with other Bridges programs, SMART takes a harm minimisation rather than an abstinence approach.

The groups are anonymous and confidential so anyone can attend for as long or as little as they like. Participants have the opportunity to discuss difficulties, challenges, accomplishments and successes while focusing on goals.

Bridges currently runs the evidence-based groups in Maryborough.

This is a closed group for probation and parole clients only.

Please contact your probation and parole officer if interested.
